Tommi Virtanen has been appointed as Finance Director of Edita Group and a member of the Group Management Team

Tommi Virtanen (M.Sc. Econ) has been appointed as Finance Director of Edita Group Plc as of 1 July 2024. He reports to the CEO of the Group. Until now, the CEO of the Group, Kristiina Kujala, has temporarily served as the CFO in addition to her own duties. Before this appointment, Tommi Virtanen held the position of Group Controller.

“Tommi has strong expertise in demanding financial tasks and extensive knowledge of Edita Group’s finances and operations. His responsibility in the management of our Group’s finance has developed naturally during the transition period, when the CEO has acted in a dual role. It is a pleasure to appoint Tommi to the role of Finance Director”, says CEO Kristiina Kujala.
