The CEO of Edita Group, Kristiina Kujala, will be leaving her position. She joined the company in 2018 as CFO and was appointed interim CEO in 2022 and CEO in 2024.
According to Kristiina Kujala, she is stepping down with a strong sense of accomplishment. She states that she has successfully led the company through a significant and multi-phase transformation during her tenure.
“Throughout this incredibly interesting journey, we actively managed our portfolio and, among other initiatives, clarified Edita Group’s structure to strengthen the strategic focus of our businesses. In our business areas, we especially invested in renewing our legal information services and artificial intelligence solution for Edilex, and also launched new learning materials for primary schools,” states Kristiina Kujala, CEO of Edita Group.

Kristiina Kujala’s final working day will be May 31, 2025. As of June 1, Edita Group’s Finance Director Tommi Virtanen will lead the organization starting June 1, 2025, and will report to the Board of Directors in this role.
