Tomi-Pekka Niukkanen, Managing Director of Edita Oppiminen, will leave his position on September 30, 2025. This change follows Edita Group’s decision, announced earlier this year, to close down the learning materials business of its subsidiary, Edita Oppiminen Oy. All publishing rights to the learning materials have since been sold to new owners.
Tomi-Pekka Niukkanen will continue as director overseeing the winding down of Edita Oppiminen’s business until the end of November. His role will be to ensure that all measures related to the company’s closure are handled as agreed.
As previously announced, preparations are also underway to merge Edita Oppiminen with its parent company, Edita Group Plc. This merger is scheduled to take place on December 31, 2025.
