Tuomo Lindfors, M.Sc. (information systems), has been appointed to a new Head of Group IT role in Edita Group Plc starting on the 15th of August 2022. In his role Tuomo is responsible for managing the Group’s IT operations. He reports to the Group’s interim CEO, CFO Kristiina Kujala.
Tuomo has previously worked in various IT positions in Kemira and Cargotec. He has a long experience especially in leading and planning IT projects and implementing related change management operations in cooperation with business operations.

Arto Salminen, who has held a long and distinguished position as Edita Group’s IT Manager, leaves the company on 31st of August 2022. Also, the agreement with the interim CIO Timo Liukkonen will end at the end of August. Both Arto and Timo will ensure that the transition of various tasks to Tuomo Lindfors will go smoothly during the latter part of August.
”I wish to thank Arto for his long career with our Group. In his role as Group’s IT Manager Arto has made several changes possible. The most recent example is carving out the Nordic Morning business operations from the Group’s IT infrastructure as a result of divesting the business area,” says Kristiina Kujala.
